Long Help	To facilitate managing functions like registration that are designed to be done by a member logged in and self managing, the website has a <B>Proxy</B> function that allows logged in members with sufficient privilege to impersonate or take on the identify of another member without having to log in as them or know their password. The key aspects of the proxy function are: <UL> <LI>You must have access level of 5 or above to use or even see it in the navigation bars.</LI> <LI>The header always indicates your identity and that of whom you are impersonating. The logged in person always has a comment of <I>Oooh, that Firstname Lastname is such a sexy dancer!</I> If you are Sally Struthers and you are impersonating Joe Dancer you will see and additional comment clarifyig that the person is being impersonated and by whom: <UL> <LI>Oooh, that Joe Dancer is such a sexy dancer!<LI> <LI>( Proxied by Sally Struthers )</LI> </UL> </LI> <LI>You do not need to log out of one impersonated identity to assume another, you can always click on <B>Proxy</B> and select a new identity to impersonate. </LI> <LI>When you want to be you, you can click on the <B>Proxy</B> linke and just click on the <B>Resume My Original Identity</B> and be disconnected from anyone you have impersonated. </LI> <LI>Everytime you proxy to someone it is logged so if something odd appears in someone's information the webmaster will be giving you a call. </LI> </UL> It is important to always be aware of the one or two comments in the header to know who you are to keep things from becoming very confusing. Important context to know at all times: <UL> <LI>If you have proxy level of access, you can do a lot of damage to a user's data.</LI> <LI>Minimize the time your are impersonating someone, when you are done updating their registration or personal data, resume your original identity right away.</LI> <LI>If you are unsure, read the Overview link and ask the Webmaster.</LI> </UL>
